Moving ahead with all the irreversible force of a freight train at full tilt and headed west, the UNSTOPPABLE Tour holds nothing back. THE LATIN BREED at over 40 are once again here to remind those who may have mistakenly imagined that 'orquesta tejana' or Tejano music orchestras have gone by the way side. The aptly entitled UNSTOPPABLE tour advances, block by block, street by street, city by city and state by state, bringing a hot new set of non-stop thriller classics, timeless tunes that unload with an unprecedented impact on audiences at every junction.
Always inextricably linked to the column of bands that made music "ahead of its time," the tell-tale THE LATIN BREED identity can be traced back to the due diligence of forward thinking saxophonist and founder Rudy Guerra. Today, the cross-pollination between the group's street-schooled thoroughbreds and sidemen trained as music majors within the hallowed halls of academia has enabled "The Breed" to deliver a set of flawless standards that still manages to give new meaning to the phrase "horn-fueled."
Since its formation in the '70s, "The Breed" continues to top the Tejano radio charts with its "perfect pitch" lead vocalist at the helm of both an undeniable repertoire of nostalgic hits, and hit parade of consistent new releases. THE LATIN BREED sound has been mimicked time after time, but there are, in fact, those among the "Totally Tejano" hard-core music followers that truly understand. Come what may, THE LATIN BREED traditions are "UNSTOPPABLE."
Collectively this group defines one of the truest Chicano/Tejano/Tex-Mex vibes anywhere while fans are inevitably guaranteed to rush dance floors everywhere. The Breed welcomes all—both long-time listeners and newly minted aficionados—to experience the original style of THE UNSTOPPABLE TOUR. The band invites everyone to become part of this trip through a collection of classic hits spliced with an array of new songs or their long awaited new album (slated for release late this year). THE LATIN BREED is sure to inspire a new generation of faithful "Breeders," as fans are playfully called, for another 40 years. THE LATIN BREED established in 1969 have been on non-stop tour since their beginning. Very few Chicano-Tejano outfits can say the same. |
